Tuesdays – 15:15 to 16:15 – Years 2 – 6
Kings and Queens Chess are thrilled to be running a Chess Club at St Martin’s Catholic Primary School!
Chess clubs help children build focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills — all while having a great time. Each week they explore new chess topics, and players level up from Pawn to King, earning special keyring chess pieces along the way! Every term ends with an exciting tournament, complete with medals, trophies, and certificates to celebrate every child’s progress. All abilities are welcome — from complete beginners to budding grandmasters. Spaces are limited and will be confirmed via email within a few days, a payment link will be sent in this email.
Club Dates:
For your school calendar, we’ve provisionally booked the club to run on Tuesdays for a 13-week term. Please see the proposed session dates below:
September: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
October: 6th, 13th, 20th (Excluding 27th October – Half Term)
November: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
December: 1st, 8th
